About Randy Kurtz

A nationally recognized expert on risk who's obsessed with statistics, Randy challenges conventional wisdom around risk, return, diversification, asset allocation and financial planning. He developed the DataDriven Process to create portfolios to maximize the odds of success while minimizing excess risk taken.  


He has been profiled in Forbes, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Barron’s ranked his firm as the Number 1 performing separate accounts manager in the United States in the third quarter of 2011. He holds an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S.B.A. in finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Also, Randy is a member of Mensa.
